I haven't been active in this community much this time around, as I was still getting used to my second pregnancy and managing my toddler, however.... My daughter was born early on 7 Sept at 28w6d, and is currently mostly stable in the NICU. Well surprise surprise my baby girl has made her debut, 6 weeks early! Emelia Kathryn Carnes was born via cesarean section on June 23, 2011 at 7:52pm. She weighed 5 lbs and measured 18 inches long (yes, 5/18 which coincidentally is our wedding anniversary!). Cordelia Mae Hope was born at 12:05 AM via emergency c-section on Jan 25 (a year and 3 days after her big brother Israel). She weighed 4 lbs 10 oz and was 18 inches long @ 33 weeks, and had an Apgar score of 9 and 9. No CPAP, or other help was needed by her ( Read more... )
